PFDs loan process
Paddlers needing PFDs can check sizing using samples at the admin desk. They can then let the PFD loan volunteers know which size they would like once at the marshalling area.
Paddlers bringing their own PFDs should expect random checks by officials to ensure compliance with Singapore regulations (USCG Type III (or Type I/II), or ISO 12402 Level 50, 50S, or 100+)
PFDs are loaned strictly for race use and must be returned immediately after the races - they are not for personal use throughout the event.

- Paddlers proceed to their canoe to race
- After their race, paddlers return the PFDs before they exit the Boardwalk in exchange for their ID cards
Athlete Waiver
As is standard practice for IVF events, ALL paddlers must sign and submit the athlete waiver below by August 6, 2026.

Additional entries have been allocated based on the medals received in a category at the prior World Sprints. A maximum of 6 is allowed. See the quota attached below (Para is now combined in the below document):

- Prescription Medications : Paddlers using prescription drugs must verify their legality before travel. Many common medications require prior approval or a permit to enter the country. The government's HSA (Health Sciences Authority) website can be used to confirm if medication is permitted into the country or not.
- Illegal Drug Use (Important Note): Singapore maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal narcotics such as marijuana and
- recreational drugs. Severe Penalties: Possession, consumption, or trafficking of illegal drugs can result in long-term imprisonment, corporal punishment (caning), or the death penalty.
