- Bid Document circulated to all member countries
- Bids due to IVF Board
- IVF Board and Events and technical Committee to review Bids and go back to Bidders with any questions or suggestions
- Bid Countries to come back to IVF with any amendments
- Bids received to go to countries to review
- Online meeting for Bid Countries to make presentations to All member countries (zoom)
- Member countries can ask questions of bidders
- Member countries Vote on the 2028 World Distance Championship and the 2029 World Sprint
- Championship via zoom
- Successful bidders announced
